GRMS P.E. Dress Policy

Dress Policy
To ensure a safe environment for participation as well as promote hygiene and safety, students change into a P.E. uniform EVERYDAY. One of the overall goals of the P.E. department is to teach students responsibility and make them accountable for their actions. We follow the school dress code.

Acceptable Dress
A PE uniform consists of a gray t-shirt and black athletic shorts. A Gale Ranch physical education uniform is recommended, and available for purchase. These items may be purchased separately. In addition, gray or black sweats which were not worn to school that day, may be worn over the uniform during colder weather. Sweats may not be worn in place of the uniform.

The uniform will be labeled with the student’s first and last name so that every effort can be made to return lost clothing to the proper owner. Defaced or torn P.E. uniforms are unacceptable and must be replaced

Jewelry is not to be worn in class (rings, necklaces, earrings, etc.) as we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items. Any valuables that are brought to P.E. are to be locked inside their locker.

Students will be asked to take their clothes home every Friday to wash and be returned on the following Monday.
